Weather & Water Conditions
We operate between the Intercoastal waters of Clearwater Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The conditions on the water are extremely dynamic and can affect your ride tremendously. Always consider the weather, the day of the week you are booking for, and the tide.
Upon inclement weather, we offer re-booking or full refunds before the start of the activity. If conditions become unsafe during a tour, we may need to come back early. In this case, we offer partial refunds or vouchers to come finish your ride at a later time. Wind speed and direction are always a factor in how smooth or choppy your ride may be. Most of the time, the sea breeze coming off of the Gulf late in the day can cause more choppy conditions. Book for earlier tour times for a smoother ride. Checking the forecast can be a useful tool when booking a tour.
Weekends are always
busy on Clearwater Beach. This means less parking and more boat traffic on the water. Tours are usually larger groups on Saturday and Sunday. Try booking weekday tours for smaller, more personable Jet Ski Tours. Our Double Decker Pontoon Excursions are all private charters. This means you reserve the entire boat with the option of having up to 6 people per charter. For all large parties please give us a call for more options and details.
The tide can affect destination and the ability to explore during a tour. High tide is always preferable. During a high tide, you can explore more hidden, scenic routes and some of our favorite secret spots. There is also less of a chance to run aground during high tide. Checking the tide charts for the date and time of your desired reservation is highly recommended prior to booking. Check the water conditions for your visit:

What to Bring
Every driver MUST have a valid ID with a picture and a birth date. Additionally, any driver born after January 1, 1988 must acquire a temporary boater’s license prior to the tour. This can be done on our website by clicking the “Boater License” tab on the top left of the home page. The course is $9.99 and the license is good for a year. You have unlimited attempts for a passing grade as long as the test is done online. In the case that we are pulled over on the water, we will need to present these documents to the authorities. So, you may either email a copy of your certification to email@example.com or bring your cell phone along for the ride. Aqua Case floating dry bags are available on-site or at the time of the online purchase.
Proper eye protection is REQUIRED. Sunglasses with lanyard are sufficient for protection from the sun’s powerful rays and debris that may fly into the eye at high speeds. Safety sunglasses and lanyards are for sale at our location for $6.00 each if you prefer not to bring your own.
Water is recommended on every tour! Whether you are doing waverunners or paddleboards, anytime in the hot Florida sun can be dehydrating. There are stowage boxes on the waverunners and elastic bands on the paddleboards, both ideal for stowing water. Water is available for purchase on location for $2 per bottle if you prefer not to bring your own. We also have other beverages and snacks for sale on-site.
